St John’s end with a win

Six tries too nil

St John’s of Houghton beat St David’s of Inanda 42-12 in an amiable contest between Anglicans and Catholics at St John’s on Wednesday.

St John’s score six tries, St David’s four penalties. Scott Spedding, the St John’s captain and Golden Lions’ Craven Week player, converted all six of the tries.

For St John’s tries were scored by Scott Spedding, Kyle Lewis, Jean Joubert, Greg Kilfoil and Darryn Mc Clelland.

The following comment is from St John’s: St John’s ended their season on a high note with a convincing 42-12 win over St David’s. With good interchanges between both backs and forwards this set up St John’s hard running backs scoring some well worked tries.
