The New Zealand Sevens international has shown his pace and attacking flair from the back of the scrum, utilising the skills learnt in the shorter format of the game.

The 29-year-old said: "I’m really excited to have extended my stay with Bath Rugby and I have no doubt that as a Club we can build on the strong foundations that have already been put in place.

"We have a strong group of players at the Club so competition for game time will be tough, but I’m sure that will really drive the team on to success over the next few years,"

Director of Rugby, Todd Blackadder, added: “Paul is a well-respected figure amongst the group and he has shown in the short time he has been here what he can bring to the table as a player.

"His dynamism on the field has really shone through since he joined the Club in November. His pace and intensity with ball in hand gives us that extra dimension in the back row and I'm really looking forward to working with him over the next two years,"
