The versatile 30-year-old, who has made 134 appearances for the club and scored almost 800 points, took up an option of an additional two years in 2023.

But now he has signed an extension to his contract meaning he and brothers Jean-Luc and Dan are now committed to the club for two more seasons.

“I’m massively excited to be a part of this group for the next two seasons”, said Du Preez.

“I was already committed for next season, but when I was offered an extra year it was an easy decision.

“My wife and I have loved our time in Manchester.”

Du Preez earned a Bok Test cap against Wales in Washington DC in 2018.
