Former Stormers flyhalf joins Premiership heavyweight side
NEWS: Former Stormers flyhalf Tim Swiel has joined Saracens on a short-term deal.
The 31-year-old Swiel joined as an injury cover for Louis Johnson who’s been sidelined for three months following a recent bicep tear injury that occurred during training.
Swiel – who’s also comfortable at fullback returns to Saracens after training with the side during their last campaign.
Ahead of a busy Premiership season, Swiel’s arrival will provide Saracens with plenty of experience having represented the Stormers, Sharks, Edinburgh, Newcastle Falcons and Harlequins.
