Pumas recall Contempomi to centre

Leinster fly-half to feed from Todeschini

Leinster fly-half Felipe Contepomi returns to the Argentina side for the second Test against Wales, which takes place in Buenos Aires on Saturday, but only at inside centre.

Contepomi replaces Rafael Carballo at inside centre in one of three changes to the side that defeated the Welsh 27-25 in Puerto Madryn last weekend in the first Test.

He returns from taking his medical exams, which ruled him out of the first Test in a delightful throwback to the days of the amateur game.

Argentina coach Marcelo Loffreda also restores Francisco Leonelli to the right wing in place of Jose-Maria Nunez Piossek, while flanker Martin Durand comes into the back row, with Juan Manuel Leguizamon making way.

Biarritz lock Manuel Carizza, who has been named on the bench, is delighted with his return to the Argentinian team.

Carizza is available for selection once again after missing the first Test last Sunday, when he was still in France with club side Biarritz Olympique, winning the French Championnat.

"I'm very happy to have returned to play for the Pumas," said Carizza.

"The truth is that it makes me very, very happy that they have called me up again. That means that the coaching staff have been following my performances since I went to France."
