Penxe heads to Australia

Of the 23 players who did duty against the Lions, just two – Alshaun Bock and Stefan Willemse – will be left at home when the team departs on Saturday.

Bock made history earlier in the competition by becoming the oldest player to make his Super Rugby debut.

Makazole Mapimpi, who was a late withdrawal from the match against the Lions due to a thigh injury, has been given an all-clear and has been named in head coach Deon Davids' 27-man squad.

The tour to Australia includes matches against Force (April 9), Reds (April 15) and the Waratahs (April 21). The Kings will then return to Nelson Mandela Bay where they will take on the Rebels on Saturday, April 29.
