Pollard under the knife

Bulls team doctor Herman Rossouw confirmed that Pollard went under the knife on Monday to repair the injury to his right ankle (torn Syndesmosis).

The mishap happened during training last Thursday, ahead of their 20-14 win over the Cheetahs at the weekend.

The flyhalf is expected to be sidelined for eight to 10 weeks.

Rossouw revealed that there are no major injury concerns emanating from the weekend's encounter.

Prop Jacobie Adriaanse missed Monday's practice with a 'twisted knee' and is expected to return to training on Tuesday.

The Bulls have a bye this week, before they face the Crusaders inPretoria on May 6.
