Lambie returning home from Sharks tour

Besides Lambie, locks Ruan Botha and Lubabalo Mtyanda, and flank Francois Kleinhans will also be returning home after picking up injuries.

Lambie suffered a suspected joint separation in his right shoulder just before half-time in the Toulon game. He has considerable swelling on the shoulder at present and will return home this week to get scans done and to assess the full extent of his injury as well as the lay-off period.

Kleinhans tore his bicep muscle in his left arm, while Botha picked up a hip injury. Both will get scans done on their respective injuries when they return home.

Mtyanda fractured his cheekbone and will also undergo scans to determine the extent of the injury.

The Sharks play their second warm-up match against Toulouse in France on Thursday.
