Abrahams, who was a schoolboy sensation for Paarl Boys High and a Junior Springbok in 2019 made his debut for the Sharks’ Currie Cup and URC team in 2020 for a combined 23 appearances for the Durban based team until 2023.

He also featured in the Sharks’ Super Rugby unlocked team during the global pandemic in 2020.

The speedster scored five tries in each competition for the Sharks during his three year stint.

He then took up a stint in France with Lyon where he played in the French Top 14 and Champions Cup in 2023 and 2024.

Abrahams struggled to get consistent game time with both sides as he only played on eight occasions for Lyon, bagging one try in the process.

He signed with Munster for the 2024 season, which will certainly put the spotlight back on the youngster who will be aiming for higher honours playing in a competition that features the ‘big four’ South African franchises.
