The Scottish side has already signed centre Huw Jones, who is currently on national duty with Scotland in the Six Nations.

It's believed that Scottish Rugby have been monitoring Kebble for several years and he is considered to be a project player as he could represent Scotland after three years' residency.

Scotland already have a number of South African-born players on their books, which includes props Willem Nel and Allan Dell and loose forward Josh Strauss.

Kebble has 34 caps for the Stormers and helped Western Province win the 2014 Currie Cup.
