Super Rugby predictions Round 16

The 2019 Super Rugby season is heading towards the business end and the conferences remain wide open. While that’s not made Super Rugby predictions any easier, it does mean that the fixtures become all the more intriguing. And with the tournament now almost reaching its climax, every single game is important with quarterfinal final places up for grabs.

This weekend’s Super Rugby fixtures presents a few interesting spectacles.

The gap in the conference standings haven’t changed much and with just three rounds remaining (including this weekend’s games), every single point counts – particularly in the South African conference.

The Stormers, rooted at the bottom of the log, are separated from top-of the-table Jaguares by just six points.

The Australian conference is not quite as tight between log leaders (Brumbies on 34) and the bottom-placed Sunwolves on 12. However, the top three are in for a tight tussle.

The Crusaders look set to win the New Zealand conference, but you already knew that, didn’t you?
